Siswa SMPN 9 Parepare Juara Olimpiade IPS dan Menulis Cerpen Bugis
Peserta didik UPTD SMP Negeri 9 Parepare, patuh diacungi jempol. Kali ini dua anak didiknya meraih juara 1 Olimpiade IPS dan Menulis Cerpen Bugis.
Juara Olimpiade Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) dipersembahkan Khumairah dan juara Menulis Cerpen Bugis diraih Muhammad Farhan.
Atas pencapain itu, keduanya dinobatkan sebagai sebagai siswa terbaik dan berprestasi oleh Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kota Parepare, Sulawesi Selatan.
“Syukur, alhamdullilah hari ini (Jumat, 12 Januari 2024) anak didik kita mengukir prestasi terbaik,” kata Kepala UPTD SMP Negeri 9 Parepare, Hasdir Subroto, M.Pd, usia menyerahkan hadiah.
Hasdir mengajak anak didiknya terus berlatih mengasah skill agar bisa berprestasi.
“Kami menyiapkan wadahnya di sekolah. Anak didik didampingi guru-guru yang ahli di bidangnya,” katanya.
Anak didik, kata dia, bisa memilih berbagai pengembangan diri sesuai bakat dan minatnya.
“Anak didik bebas memilih ada Pramuka, Paskibra, ekskul Jurnalistik, Tari dan Seni, pencinta alam, literasi numerasi, dan kegiatan keagamaan.
Selain itu, Hasdir juga menyerahkan seragam lengkap kepada 15 siswa terbaik selama 2023.
“Selamat kepada anak-anak hebat kami. Belajar dengan giat, raih prestasi gemilang,” pesan kepala sekolah. (*)
